This video totally blew me away. Can you imagine what our world would be like if all children had this type of awareness? It just goes to show that when people are educated about what’s really happening with our food system, they can make good, informed choices! I think everyone should watch this video!

Seriously, if you think this video isn’t as biased by the socialist left agenda, as much as corporations are inherently evil, then your are equally as foolish as those you criticize.
The bottom line is people have the freedom to make choices. Unfortunately they might not be good choices always, or ones you agree with. But you should seriously start to question your motives when you want to shape others into your narrow view. That is how we get fascism.
A better approach would be to lead by example. If your views are so inherently better than those of others, then naturally they will find them inspiring and perhaps even incorporate them to their own. But to force feed those ideas usually results in the opposite effect.

BF – Hi there, I’m sorry it took me awhile to respond! I haven’t been too active on my blog in awhile. Thank you so much for taking the time to write and to share your opinions. I posted this video awhile ago so I watched it again today so I could write back. I totally appreciate that we all have our own points of view, and agreed, the video is somewhat biased. My background is in Holistic Nutrition so I’m biased in the sense that I am a big fan of buying local, organic foods. I’m also not a big fan of Genetically modified foods.
Out of curiosity, what about the video bothered you? Or, was it my comments about the video? I like to use my blog to post things that inspire me but hadn’t realized that it may have come across that I was trying to ‘shape others’ into my point of view. It wasn’t my intention. I appreciate your honest, critical feedback though as I’ll try to keep that in mind for future posts.
I found your comments interesting, so I’d like to ask you, how do you think I could have made this blog post better? Or do you have any suggestions in general for how improve my blog? I’m totally open to any suggestions… For example, do you think it would have been better had I tried to be more objective?
I really liked the last paragraph in your comment about how a ‘better approach’ is to lead by example. I totally agree 100%. The people who inspire me the most are people who are truly ‘living it’ and don’t just talk about it. I find those people rare gems. I aspire to become more like them and do my best to try and ‘walk the talk,’ however being human and not perfect, I know I still have more to learn.
Again, thanks so much for posting your honest feedback. It is greatly appreciated. If you have any suggestions on how I could improve the way that I post, I’m totally open to the discussion!! Sorry for taking awhile to get back to you… I’ve been really busy lately.
Take care.

Wow. An honest discussion is too much for narrow minded people. I guess there’s only 1 opinion……yours.

Hi BF (in regards to your comment #2) – Again, I apologize that it took me awhile to approve the comment and write to you. I haven’t been too active on this blog recently. I just got a chance to write back to your original comment, so please feel free to write back if you want to chat more. Thanks again for your honest feedback!

Sorry if last comment seemed impatient. I thought I was being shut out since our view points differed. I’ll reply to comment 1 tomorrow. Keep in mind that we learn more from those that we disagree with than those we agree with. Preaching to the choir doesn’t advance ones wisdom.

No worries.
I like chatting with people with differing opinions. It helps me to grow as a person and to see different view points. I look forward to getting your reply on comment 1! Have a nice evening.
